A swarm of Combee, the Tiny Bee pokemon from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, and notably my first piece of work with a background that isn't just black for once. I think it looks like a nice scene, even though the Combee models themselves are relatively simple. One thing of note is the presence of both male and female Combee here, with the female Combee having the notable red spot on their one face, which the males lack. Also, since female Combee are rarer than male Combee in the games, there is more male Combee present here, but since the females are the only ones that can evolve into Vespiquen, the queen bee, the Combee that gets center stage here is a female.
Thanks, oddly enough I don't think I've ever encountered a wild Combee once in the games, ever - the only things that have come out of the honey trees in-game are Burmy and one Aipom for me.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
